Eine Lehrschwimmhalle in Eisenhüttenstadt – vor mehr als 20 Jahren stillgelegt.
Draußen Regenflut. Innen Ebbe. Stühle statt Wasser. Ein Kachelmosaik aus DDR-Tagen über der offenen Beckenlandschaft. Die Zeit steht. Zwei Performerinnen tauchen in das trockene Becken. Entern die Szenerie,leeren den Raum. Fügen sich ein, treten in Resonanz mit der Halle, den Sitzmöbeln, dem Mosaik.
Überschreiben mit ihren Körpern die abgelegene, doch noch nicht abgelegte Kachelhaut.

INDESSEN begegnet der Leere.
INDESSEN hat eine Ahnung von vergangener Belebtheit und zukünftigem Potenzial des Lehrschwimmbeckens.
INDESSEN ist Dazwischen und Jedoch.

Indoor swimming pool in Eisenhüttenstadt – over 20 years shut.
Outside, a flood of rain. Inside, low tide. Chairs where water once was.
A GDR mosaic presides over the pool. Time stands.
Two performers dive into the dry pool, board the scenery, clear the space.
They ease themselves in, reverberate with chairs, mosaic, hall.
The latest lines, yet not the last, on this long-lived, left and lone tile skin.

INDESSEN is an encounter with emptiness.
INDESSEN is a sense of past life and future potential.
INDESSEN is in-between and however.
